From a Blessed Heart

Thank You, Lord, I am blessed.
Blessed by Your presence along my walk upon this planet.
Blessed by the things You’ve taught me through hardships and despair.

Thank You, Lord for the strength to keep going. The laughter and the tears.
I’ve stumbled and fell, but always rose again. The laughters comfort me, the tears humble me.
You have been my Sustainer.

Thank You, Lord, for my spouse.
He blesses me in every possible way, with his selflessness and a servant’s heart.
He does well in loving me the way You love the church.

Thank You, Lord, for my little prince.
He makes me laugh and cry and persevere.
Through caring for him I learn to know Your heart, Your Fatherly love, faithful and unfathomable.

Thank You, Lord for companions along the way.
They share my burdens, remind me of the great things You’ve done in their lives, and show me what I’ve been so blessed with.
They lift me up in their prayers, sending troops of angels to fight for and protect us from all evil.

Thank You, Lord, for delighting in me, believing in me.
Though I displease you far too many times.
I shall praise and glorify you with all my might, my heart and my soul.

I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods;

with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

On my bed I remember you;

I think of you through the watches of the night.

Because you are my help,I sing in the shadow of your wings.

I cling to you; your right hand upholds me.
